Our Empowered Yoga & Mindfulness teens yoga training incorporates developmental psychology, emotional intelligence, yoga and mindfulness practices in order to empower teens to transform the way they show up in their bodies and lives. Our non-secular programs integrate various philosophies and traditions in order to offer effective tools for resilience focused on developing; self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-compassion that may be utilized in school settings, clinical settings and at home. Teens now more than ever are bombarded with information, overstimulation and expectations from our human doing culture. Busy family lives, trauma, financial stress, bullying, sexuality and technology all play a pivotal role in a teens over all well-being. This weekend course offers a holistic lens (bio-psycho-social-spiritual) through which we may both approach, understand and be proactive about our teens health and happiness. Developed by experienced school teachers and administrators, yoga teachers and therapists this course offers an integrative approach.
Investment: $500 plus gst. A $100 non-refundable deposit or full amount to secure your spot.
Saturday & Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm
In addition to classroom hours there will be an assignment and practicum component
