During this training we will learn the art of Restorative yoga through both discussion and practice. The weekend module will provide an understanding of how stress affects the nervous system, endocrine system, musculoskeletal system, and energy body and how restorative yoga can create balance in our sympathetically tuned lifestyles. During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited through the rest and digest cycle of the parasympathetic nervous system improving: blood pressure, digestion, fertility, insomnia, adrenal fatigue, muscle tension and more. Restorative yoga facilitates settling, during which emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and often unconscious/subconscious processes to be processed. Upon completion, participants will be able to create, practice and guide Restorative Yoga practices.
